IV Nutrition is a mix of saline solution and nutrients that are delivered directly into the bloodstream for better and quicker absorption. IV administration allows bypassing the GI tract, where many of us have absorption issues. Each IV contains a unique blend of essential electrolytes, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants to combat a wide range of health issues and regenerate your health. At Regenesis MD, we tailor these to the specific needs of the patient. For example, we can use high doses of vitamin C to combat illness and chronic pain, a blend of amino acids and electrolytes to help with quicker recovery from workouts, or a combination of vitamins and antioxidants to combat fatigue and aging.
Routine blood work (within the last 12 months) is required before your first appointment in order to obtain a baseline status, as well as assess safety, effectiveness, and overall management. For more information about what lab work is required, please feel free to contact us.
Before an IV, it is important to eat a meal, at least enough to feel full before your appointment, as well as to stay hydrated throughout the day, and limit caffeine as much as possible. It is also appropriate to bring snacks, juice, or water if you would like to have during the treatment as well, if needed.
What will I feel during my IV treatment?
Everyone is different with how they respond to any treatment, and IV therapy is no different. The most common effects reported during a treatment are: increased energy, feeling of calm or less anxiety, and tasting the vitamins in their mouth.
UV light adds energy to the red blood cells causing a healing cascade to occur. Ozone in blood makes oxidative stress causing the body to respond and heal.
This treatment can help with chronic pain, Lyme, fatigue, allergy, EBV, and cancer. Patients have seen significant help after five or more treatments. The treatment takes about 45 minutes. (1 for $300 or a package of 5 for $1,350)
Ozone (O3) is a molecule made up of three oxygen atoms. It’s highly unstable and explosive in liquid or solid form. But as a gas, this supercharged oxygen may potentially have therapeutic qualities.
Ozone therapy uses medical-grade ozone created using an ozone generator device. The intent of ozone therapy is to increase the amount of oxygen in your body.
A higher oxygen level can boost your immune system while promoting healing. It does that through cell regeneration — the process of replacing or repairing damaged cells. Ozone gas can be dissolved in a sample of your blood and then reintroduced back into your body through an IV through a process called autohemotherapy.
Ozone helps with:
* Immune system support because ozone therapy activates your immune system and boosts immunity.
* Improved blood circulation, as more oxygen travels to your cells, tissues and organs.
* Protection from invaders like bacteria, viruses and fungi by halting their growth and reducing their survival.
* Reduced oxidative stress, which is an imbalance of cell-damaging free radicals and protective antioxidants that can lead to inflammation and chronic disease.
The UV light is used to clean your blood and destroy any pathogens or bacteria before it re-enters your body through an iV. UVC and or UVB light is used to irradiate the blood before it is put back into the circulatory system.
UV light and Ozone therapies were actually used extensively in the 1940s and 1950s to treat various diseases like septicemia, pneumonia, arthritis, TB and even polio. With the advent of antibiotics, these amazing and very safe therapies were forgotten and replaced with medications that came with multiple side effects.
UV light and high dose Ozone can help with:
- Chronic fatigue
- Lyme disease
- Autoimmune disease
- COPD
- Allergies
- Anemia
- Poor circulation
- Bacterial and viral infections
- Poor Immune function
- Rheumatological disease
- Anti aging
- Dementia
- Post Stroke recovery
