Before your appointment: avoid dental work and the COVID vaccine for two weeks prior; avoid blood-thinning medications and herbal supplements (omega-3, vitamin E, St. John's Wort, garlic, ginkgo biloba) for one week prior; stop AHA, Retin-A, glycolic acid, and retinoids for three days prior; avoid alcohol and caffeine 24 hours before. After your appointment: sleep on your back for 48 hours; avoid strenuous exercise, makeup, aspirin, ibuprofen, and excessive alcohol for 24–48 hours; avoid puckering or kissing for 24 hours after lip filler; avoid dental work and COVID vaccine for 2 weeks. Filler effect is fully visible after 1–2 weeks. Individual results vary.
